After the rush of the holidays, settling into the new year can be a bit of a downer. It's rough to go from a bunch of great food, parties, and presents to, well, nothing. But thankfully Lea Michele is already giving us something to cheer about this year: a couple nude Instagram post of herself. Not even a week into 2017 and Lea Michele has had a great year so far.

Though, to be fair - or should I say because it's Instagram and they have stupid rules - Lea Michele is 100 percent nude. She has that stupid leaf emoji covering up her beautiful rump. Ugh, come on Instagram, it's 2017! Time to get with the program. Look, if they can show someone's naked ass on primetime television, you guys should totally let Lea Michele show off her ass. Besides, I'm sure it's one hell of a beautiful ass that deserves to be seen by all. I mean, she is sitting outside with no clothes on whatsoever, so she's probably not all that embarrassed (or whatever) to show off her rear end. 

I really do hope this Instagram pic is a sign of things to come in 2017, and by that I mean, hopefully Lea Michele finally goes nude in something. Well, I guess I should say goes nude in something other than Instagram where she can actually show off her amazing body.
