Rude Yule Lights Get a Guy Arrested

A man in the UK - who really should be living in Florida and part of Tucker Bankshot's regular column on this site - got arrested on Monday "on suspicion of a public order offence and issued with a penalty notice for disorder," according to a statement released by the Lancashire police department to Metro.

For some reason, Steve McGawley's neighbors complained about his super festive Xmas light display, some of which is shown above.  He also shot a video of his arrest, where he refuses to take the lights down and refuses to put clothes on at first so that he can go outside and talk to the cops about his holiday creativity.

McGawley's neighbors don't totally suck. While some called in those complaints that brought the police to his front door, others think that the displays are funny and that people should raise funds for him to help pay off the fines he has gotten for his lights. The cops also say that they will definitely come out and arrest him again if they hear any more about his electrical Xmas well wishes to the world.

I personally think that the guy should go big-budget with it and light up his house to the level of the stuff that I have seen this year on ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight". What Christmas display isn't made a little bit better with some filth?
