A Chat With AVN Female Performer of the Year Nominee Jillian Janson

Jillian Janson is up for the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year along with her other nominations, and it has truly been a pleasure watching this beautiful young woman's career and fan base grow. I wanted to check in with her to see how getting this type of notice in her career has affected her and she is still just as lovely as ever.

Congrats on your nomination for AVN Female Performer of the Year! How does it feel being nominated for that honor?

"It almost feels unreal, however, it feels just as powerful as any other nomination has. I think I get more surprised each year, but I couldn't be more blessed! The recognition means more than you may think but whether I truly come home deserving that title or if I don't, it won't change who I am. The fact that people put in the effort to look for those that want to make a difference in humanity, those who have the drive to strive for not only to fill their own life full of happiness, but everyone else's as well! I want to thank everyone for believing in who I am and these nominations show me that you're proud to experience the journey."

Who else nominated in this category inspires you as a performer?

"All these girls inspire me and we all deserve the recognition. Girls who put effort into performing well are worthy of nominations. Even if you're not working everyday, you're keeping your reputation as either a smart, funny or charming individual one way or another. If you're someone who causes a lot of issues on set and you're a difficulty to work with, most likely you won't get hired much and then you become someone that may not work as much."

You also have a nomination for Best Anal Sex Scene for your work with AVN Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue in "Hot Models". What do you enjoy most about working with Blue?

"He's actually on the list for the top five favorite male performers for the reasons of him being the sweet, caring, and educated performer that he is. Being in this industry for as long as he has, he definitely understands how to make his way around the ladies, especially with a wife that is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. A man like him knows how to charm, so it's no mystery I feel enchanted in all the right ways."

You also are again being recognized for your oral abilities and you have an AVN nomination for your scene in "Throat Training 2". What advice do you have to give to a woman who wants to improve her cock sucking skills?

"Take control in a very sexy and seductive way - there is no reason to rush it. Men get more turned on by build up than anything else. Tease your way into his pants and make sucking his cock the last thing you do. Caress his body, tug on his hair while you kiss, and lick lightly up his skin. These things typically send shivers down a man's spine, so right when you've got him where you want him, gradually lick him like a lollipop - the slower and wetter the better. Then you can start going deep into your throat, but some men have doubts that you'll accidentally cut it with your teeth if you're not careful. So relax all your muscles and he will relax too."

What does being given all of these honors do for you as a performer?

"It helps me understand that all these years of me barely doing much to get my name out there, I've accomplished so much still. There's always been something that came up and it would allow me to focus on other things rather than what was best for myself and my career, but in a way, I also didn't want to overwork myself. I had done what I could to help those in my personal life, but then I started to realize helping others to an extent was holding me back, and in a sense, I also felt taken advantage of. I've recollected myself and feel better then ever, but it's nice to know that during the absent time, no one forgot about me. I can already tell 2017 is going to be an amazing year!"

How have your feature dancing gigs been? Do you plan to travel more for these in the coming year?

"My dance gigs are absolutely incredible. I knew it was something I was destined to do. I had dreams of being a ballerina when I was a child, but this is close enough! I feel like the world is my stage. I enjoy the excitement of getting to travel to places that you don't know will be exotic or similar to your everyday environment. Some day, I plan to go outside of the country, but so far I've featured in L.A., New York, Las Vegas, and many more! As long as I'm keeping up with my body and health, I will dance until the day I die."

What can you share about the mainstream horror movie that you will be seen in later this year?

"Unfortunately I can't display any information at this time, except for news that they are working very hard in the editing stage. Just like any movie out there for the public eye to see, they want this to be perfect. I should have more details of the release by the beginning of 2017."

What advice would you give another female performer about being successful as a porn star?

"Stay natural. Stay unique."

What else is coming up for you?

"There's an insane amount of opportunities heading my way, especially now more than ever. I have spent enough time in this industry sitting back and watching what works best for not only me, the fans, but the industry. I want to be known for all the things I learned, created, and dreamed about. I'm hoping that these eventually are not only my visions, but yours too. I have a site with MichaelNinnFilm on ModelCentro called www.therealjillianjanson.com, another one through Snapchat, a texting service, as well as my own site ran 100 percent by me coming in the next year."

Is there anything that you would like to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?

"I couldn't be more thankful and honored in the entire world to be here today as someone who took a chance, fought to live a happy and successful life, and received the opportunity to share it with the world. I never let anyone or anything change me, only influence. That is my only advice to my admirers. Be happy about who you are - I know I am and I have you all and your beautiful compliments to thank!"
