A Four-Boobed Alien? Almost Happened in “Total Recall”

And the Bugs in Starship Troopers, well...

When it comes to the 1990 masterpiece Total Recall, parts of the story can get lost over time, but there is one thing none of us will ever forget: the three-boobed woman. Yeah, I think all of us were turned on in the weirdest way possible when that scene happened. And yet, the memorable scene almost didn’t happen because director Paul Verhoeven wanted a four-boobed woman.  

Yes, you heard me right, Paul Verhoeven actually put some thought into it, as you can watch in the video from TMZ. While many of us will just find this to be an interesting fact about a movie none of us have thought in over 20 years, I kind of hope it sparks a bit of a debate. Would it be less odd if Mary (played by Lycia Naff) had four boobs, one of top of the each other? I’m trying to picture it in my head, but I have to admit that scene is so iconic (at least in my mind) that I can’t really picture anything other than the three boobs. But double boobs means double cleavage, so that’s kind of awesome. 

Oh, if you remember Starship Troopers, the final bug, the Brain Bug, you know the big one that looks like slug? Well, it’s not a slug. Nope, it’s a vagina. That’s right, one big giant bug shaped like a vagina. You’re a national treasure, Paul Verhoeven.
