Brooke Is Beautiful and She Is Back!
Brooke (formerly known as Brooke Banner) is back performing after a six year break from the industry. She was loved her first time around for her excellent girl/girl and oral scenes and she experienced mainstream success with roles on the TV shows "Californication" and "Coed Confidential". She is and was a total pro in all of her scenes, throwing herself happily at whatever lovely filthy act in her path. Glad to see she is back for our viewing pleasure.
So how is being back in porn after that time away?
"For me personally, being back in porn hasn’t really sunk in. I feel excited and hungry for work. My passion for sex and the ability to express myself sexually in an artistic fashion is what becomes the thing which stands out most, is the difference between the eighteen or nineteen year old girl who fell into porn versus the woman who I am today making a conscious choice to return."
What have you noticed that has changed in the industry while you were not performing?
"When I decided to leave the industry I never looked back. This was pre-social media era. There was nothing really for me to follow up with anyone on. Now returning, I have scoped out the scene. I know the money has changed and what companies require has been heightened, but I am focused on myself and my website."
What made you drop the Banner?
"I was Brooke from 2001-2007; it is my middle name. For legality reasons I cannot say exactly why I am returning without Banner, but I am Brooke through and through and want to be who I am and represent what I own."
I was told that your first scene is for Zero Tolerance and that you were directed by AVN Hall of Famer Mike Quasar. What do you enjoy most about being directed by Quasar?
"Where do I start? I have so many positive things to say about Mike Quasar and my first scene back. We went back and forth via email for a few weeks, talking about me and how I was feeling, male talent, the business, money, etc. I appreciated the support, and I believe I needed and wanted the support. On the day of the shoot he allowed me to have just enough freedom to create my passion out of his work. Giving me space, and allowing me to collect my sexual energy and run through the scenes straight with it. There was no cutting for any reasons. He didn’t ask us to open up, or to be a certain way. He captured the natural passion and energy which was flowing between myself and the male talent. Above all, he worked with me."
Who is your favorite male performer/female performer to work with these days and why? You just worked with Small Hands for Zero Tolerance.....how was he?
"I’m just returning to the business. I had a great first scene back with Small Hands, and an exciting second scene back with Keiran Lee. Both were generous and considerate of my return and what I might be feeling. They fed off my energy and I fed off theirs. They were natural scenes with raw energy and I enjoy working with such pros. While it’s been five to six years since I worked, it’s not too hard to remember what work could actually feel like. These two scenes felt like I was at home, which is what I want to feel to give a good raw performance."
What goals do you have for yourself this time around?
Advocacy work is my main side goal. I also have my eyes fixated on rebuilding a successful website. I have been shooting for a few months now since my return for my Puba site.
How have your social media interactions been during your comeback? What have your fans had to say?
"Ironically, I think some of my fans who follow me didn’t even know I shot porn back in the day. This was all new to them. So far I haven’t had a complaint, but wouldn’t it be funny if they said, 'why are you returning, don’t?' Those wouldn’t be fans. As for social media people, I don’t write too much, and I play Switzerland on many topics. I don’t add my two cents on many social issues. I don’t feed into social media too much, and I can’t sit around on it."
What is one thing you would teach a woman who expand her sexual boundaries with her partner?
"Always be honest, it is when you’re vulnerable when growth happens. Figure out what turns you on and play on those feelings and expand your boundaries you set for yourself. I wouldn’t just go out and get gang-banged with your partner watching, and I wouldn’t go out to the Lakers and get on the court and expect to play. It takes time and communication and even work."
What are the best things about being a porn star?
"The best thing is what I can share with the world, and for me it is the ability to walk without shame, and share that with the world through my work."
What did you remember most about being on "Californication"?
"How good it felt! I loved every minute of it. I love acting. I am an actress. I loved the tease of delivering my lines and then knowing we won’t fuck. I wanted David [Duchovny] to be turned on, I wanted to do my job well, and I hope I did."

What else is coming up for you?
"My main goal is to focus on expressing and sharing my shameless attitude about my work and my life with females, and the younger generations growing up on social media around the world. I want to get into more advocacy work which correlates with this beautiful business I am blessed to be apart of. I want to focus on sex workers and sex trafficking. I just finished my BA and I’m now transitioning into graduate school, so I am excited for that chapter to start this fall."
Anything you would like to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
"I always want to thank my fans, because without you there is no me. I hope that my return to the business will be as exciting for my fans as it is for me. I cannot wait to see what my future holds.
Follow me on Twitter @NewBrookeBrand."
