Hulk Does Not Want You to Watch His Sex Tape

Former professional wrestler/reality TV star Hulk Hogan recently won $140 million in an invasion of privacy lawsuit against Gawker Media for posting excerpts of his sex tape with Heather Cole, the wife of radio host Tom "Bubba The Love Sponge" Clem. (Gawker once owned Fleshbot.)

It is being reported that Gawker Media Group put itself up for sale and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in an attempt to save its assets following a Tampa judge's refusal to suspend or reduce the monetary punishment of the company while Gawker appeals the verdict.

Hogan's suit against Gawker was partially funded by billionaire tech investor/co-founder of Paypal Peter Thiel who has not been a fan of Gawker since at least 2007 when the now-shuttered Gawker-owned website Valleywag outed Thiel as a gay man in a post.

In this age of the internet, shooting a sex tape is a bad idea if you care about that sexual encounter someday being seen by other people, regardless of how famous you are/aren't. That really is the most basic rule of porno. Don't be like the Hulkster unless, I guess, you really think you can get a huge payday out of it.
