So There’s an “Air Sex” Contest, Like Air Guitar Only It’s Sex

Air Sex Is a Thing. And People Do It in Public? Really?

We live in a world where someone is actually the Air Guitar Champion of the World. That’s a real thing: People pretend to play guitar and get awarded for it. Well, there is apparently a thing called “Air Sex,” where I guess people pretend to have sex and there’s a contest and they pick a winner and apparently someone is going to make it into a reality show.  

A company called Matador Content is currently searching for people who want to participate in the Air Sex Contest, which is very similar to the air guitar contest, except instead of pretending to play along with music, a person humps the air to music. According to their casting call:  

"Are you brave and outgoing enough to show the world just what you are made of when it comes to your sex moves? Can you master the art of air sexing? Do you slay any competition and feel you have what it takes to win the prestigious title of Air Sex Battle Champion 2016?"  

I guess I really shouldn’t judge, we’ve all pretended to hump a person who wasn’t there, but I don’t really get crowning someone the Air Guitar Champion so . . . yeah.

Though my curiosity might get the best of me and I could possibly find myself watching this show. Mostly I want to see if they will get celebrity mentors, if they will have guest judges, and if someone will say, “I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to win,” while talking about Air Sex.
