Padma Lakshmi’s Hotness Would Make Us Do a Lot of Things

Padma Lakshmi Makes the Boring Sexy

Show of hands: How many people just watched Top Chef to see Padma Lakshmi? Come on, you can admit it here, no one will judge you. Just go ahead and put your hand up to the sky if Padma Lakshmi was the only reason you ever tuned in.  

I have a strange feeling the majority of people out there currently have their hands up. If that’s the case, then by all means, go ahead and put your hand down. Padma Lakshmi and her incredible hotness is a total acceptable reason to do many things. Seriously, let’s make a quick list of things that no one in their right mind would spend any time watching unless it included Padma Lakshmi:  

1. A 12 part, hour-long series on dirt from around the world.
2. A 10-hour documentary on history of shoelaces.
3. A reading of every phonebook from every state.
4. A series of industrial videos on proper maintenance of farm equipment.
5. Hog Farming 101.  

On the surface alone, I don’t think any one of us would actively seek out any of those, but if we knew Padma Lakshmi was involved, then we would add each one to our Netflix queue. Yes, Padma Lakshmi just has that kind of power over us and fighting it would be a waste of time. She’s hot, and the only thing we can do is enjoy it.
