What kind of guy were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I was a punk kid in high school, I played in a band, but I also was a ballet dancer from age six to nineteen. High school years, I was at San Francisco Ballet School. I kind of stuck out in both worlds, I suppose. I lived in the Bay Area since I was born until this past August when I moved to Las Vegas.

I hung around with the skater kids, and the theater kids too. I was one of the youngest among my friends and would always bum rides to shows in SF, and around the Bay, places like the Trocadero (which, incidentally, was a BDSM club in the 90s but subsequently shut down), Bottom of the Hill, and 924 Gilman in Berkeley. I've always kind of been a romantic at heart, I dated two different girls in high school. The first was short-lived, I lost my virginity to her at fifteen. She was really sweet, we're still friends. The second was a girl I met in my drama class, who I dated until I was twenty-one."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"Yes, absolutely. In case it wasn't that obvious from my previous answer, I have had a predisposition to femdom since I was pretty young. Perhaps it was the ballet mistresses (yes, they're actually called that) whacking us on the ass with rolled up newspapers, I'm not sure. Anyway, it certainly wasn't/isn't the only kind of sex or porn I like, but it's always been a favorite. I also have always enjoyed visually interesting shoots and any performer who has really good verbal execution in his/her scenes.

One of my favorite fetish performers from back in the day was Penelope Black Diamond. I think she is retired. She had a really extreme look and did some awesomely taboo stuff! Some of the first films I recall being really blown away by when I was younger/before I was in porn were Andrew Blake films, I think the first one I ever saw was called
"Paris Chic" with Aria Giovanni.

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do so far?

"That's a hard one to answer. I've had a lot of great scenes of various types, all of which I have enjoyed. I like it all, really. That said, if the chemistry is right with my scene partner(s), and everyone is into each other and what we are doing, that always makes for a great scene. I've also done quite a few gangbangs, usually five guys with one cis-woman as the submissive. Those are super fun, but usually more complicated because there are so many moving parts, as it were, but when everyone is present and knows what they're doing, it's such a great feeling to see the woman just totally overwhelmed in the best way and get really into it. I love that so much, especially having been on that side of the fence too."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

Who is your favorite performer to work with so far and why?

"Yasmin Lee is a great performer and just the right amount of seductive and dominant. I've shot with her twice and both times I remember being super exhausted in the best way possible, she really put me through my paces. She is a really good top in general, she's really stunning.

Another person who immediately comes to mind is jessica drake. I got to shoot a group scene with her this past year for Wicked. She has been such an advocate for the industry, and she was so lovely on set. She made everyone feel welcomed and she's so hot! She was a teacher in her showcase, and she definitely hit all the "hot for teacher" notes!"

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"My fans have been really cool on social media. I think it's fun to interact with people that way, and mostly I just like connecting with people, even if it's in a small way like a couple of tweets. I think a lot of people have an unconscious view that sex workers aren't regular people. I hope that a momentary exchange on Twitter will help them see that we're normal people, we have good days and bad, just like everyone else."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?

"By 2013, I had been a fan of kink.com for a long time. I knew they were based in SF, so I had a "fuck it" moment and filled out a model application on the website. A few weeks later, I was called in for an interview, and shortly after was booked for my first scene on divinebitches.com with Maitresse Madeline Marlowe (which was her brainchild femdom site). She hand-picked me from the model applications, which I didn't know at the time. I didn't want to be "that guy" who asked for her number afterward. Plus, I had no frame of reference since it was my first scene ever. I showed up a week or so later for my second shoot, and she had given the wardrobe person at Kink her number to give to me...our first date was about two weeks later. Our five year anniversary is this coming April. Initially, I thought porn would be a one-off for fun, and that would be about it.

After my first couple scenes, I didn't shoot regularly for a while. I took on porn more seriously/regularly in 2014 because I really enjoyed it and it's really starting to tie into a lot of long-term goals I've had for myself: starting my own business, doing something creative."

What do you most want to achieve in the industry?

"The next big things both Madeline and I are working on are getting our production studio dialed in in Las Vegas. It is currently shoot-ready with sets, lights, and basic amenities, but we want to really spruce it up with all the creature comforts for models and all the bells and whistles for bondage. We have been using it to shoot our own content, which we will continue to expand on over the next year and beyond. It is also going to be available to rent to other production companies as early as January.

Both Madeline and I have content concepts we are developing and are very excited about that I hope will be a fresh take on femdom/fetish content."

What is one thing you would teach a man who wanted to be a better sexual partner?

"Mostly that porn is almost all complete fantasy, that's one thing I don't think a lot of civilian men fully realize as much as they could. Sure, there is overlap to real life, but for the most part, what is done on camera shouldn't be expected in the bedroom. Two words: Consent and boundaries.

Also, communication is number one, which (in my experience) usually means listening more than talking. And if your partner wants to introduce something new into the bedroom, whether that's a toy, another person, or whatever, even if it makes you want to run for the hills, at least listen before you dismiss it completely. There is almost always a way it can be enjoyable for everyone."

What do you love most about being in porn?

"I've become really confident in my sexuality since doing porn. It has reaffirmed what I like, what I don't like, and I really like reflecting that to the outside world. I've had a lot of positive feedback from fans in that regard. That means a lot to me."

What do you like to do for fun?

"I'm not like a fitness junkie but I do like to do yoga and run. I've been practicing yoga for almost ten years, and I ran the San Francisco Marathon a couple years back.

I also still play guitar. I have a green-ish Fender Telecaster (a-la-Joe Strummer) that I still fuck around on pretty regularly."

I've learned a lot for each of them. Plus, it's fun to bullshit with them when we're all waiting around on set, of which there is quite a bit."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"Lucy with Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman, written and directed by Luc Besson, who is one of my all-time favorite directors (The Professional is one of my favorite films)."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"I really have a lot of respect for Greg Lansky in that he is trying to create something new and different in the industry. There are a lot, not necessarily a majority, but certainly a contingent of producers/directors who do the same old thing. I think it's awesome when people come to any creative process with fresh vision."

What is coming up for you?

"I recently signed with Skyn Talent, which I am hoping leads to more diverse shoots coming up in 2018, above and beyond the companies that people are used to seeing me shoot with. I have also recently started working with Kristel Penn at Ikigai Marketing, who is awesome and I hope I can get me more media exposure going into the new year as well. The production studio build out in Vegas and our own content will be the biggest thing though, I think."

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be?

"It's a toss up between Tilda Swinton and Angela Bassett."

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new female performer?

"Don't let anyone tell you what to do, even if he/she is your agent or has been in the business for a long time. There are a lot of really antiquated views within porn that are really damaging. Do what makes you happy in the industry. Learn the rules and then, with love, break them!"
