Joanna Angel Discusses Being an Abuse Survivor
Alt performer/director Joanna Angel appeared on The Jason Ellis Show yesterday along with best friend/performer Jessie Lee and her boyfriend/performer Small Hands to share alleged details about her relationship with embattled porn performer/director James Deen. Deen has been accused of raping and/or sexually assaulting multiple adult performers and one anonymous media person. Deen has released a statement on Twitter denying all the accusations, but has not granted interviews to any media.
AVN did an excellent job reporting most of Angel's interview with Ellis. Angel once portrayed Ellis in the Burning Angel parody on Ellis's show "Dude, Am I A Slut?", and she has appeared on Ellis's show in the past. Angel describes enduring and allegedly surviving some pretty horrific physical, emotional, and sexual abuse that occurred during her relationship with Deen.
Here is a clip of Angel talking about Deen's future in porn.
Here is Angel talking about Deen as perceived as a feminist.
And lastly, here is a clip of Angel explaining why porn should not be blamed for what occurred in her relationship with Deen.
