In Cut-Offs—And With Pokies—Jessica Simpson Is The Perfect Southern Belle

Here are some truths that we all know: You shouldn’t run with scissors, ice cream is always good no matter what time of year it is, and Jessica Simpson always, always looks amazing in cut-off shorts.  

Even though the Dukes of Hazzard movie was a complete and utter waste, the movie had one thing that made it bearable, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke. From that day forward I was hoping that Jessica Simpson would only wear cut-off shorts, even in winter. And while that’s not always the case, when she does it is oh so amazingly. Sure, she’s rocking some pretty sweet pokies, but the fact she’s wearing cut-off shorts and is sporting a pair of pokies makes me a little light-headed. I actually call myself a Jessica Simpson fan even though I don’t listen to her music nor did I ever watch her reality show, it’s mostly because of the cut-off shorts. They just fit her, in every sense of the word. She’s that southern belle that everyone dreams about; blonde, busty, and looks incredible in cut-off shorts. While I’m pretty sure she bought those shorts, part of me hopes she buys jeans and then makes her own cut-off shorts. Don’t know why, but that thought drives me wild.  

Fame can really change people, but it looks like Jessica Simpson will never stray from her cut-off shorts. That’s a truth I can stand behind.
