Instagram, aka the biggest cock block on the internet, recently updated their "Community Guidelines" and they read like stereo instructions. As a matter of fact, don't even bother reading them all—as if you were going to—because they let it be known in the first paragraph that they're not changing their position on nudity.
The Short
We want Instagram to continue to be an authentic and safe place for inspiration and expression. Help us foster this community. Post only your own photos and videos and always follow the law. Respect everyone on Instagram, don’t spam people or post nudity.
I find it somewhat ironic that they want it to be authentic, yet female nipples are apparently not authentic. I could understand them banning fake tits, but even then, the nipples are real most of the time. It don't make sense!
Post photos and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience.
We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks.
Man, I am just bombarded by close-ups of fully-nude buttocks on the internet. Thank goodness I can go to Instagram and not have to worry about that. Keep fighting the good fight Instagram. The war on buttocks is one with many casualties, but you're right there on the frontlines and god dammit do I respect you for that.
