When Having Sex In A Cab, People Prefer A Taxi Over A Ride Share

Ride share and app based car services like Uber and Lyft may be taking away some business from traditional cabs, but when it comes to having sex in the backseat, yellow cabs are still number one.  

In a recent New York Times article most people admit they would rather have sex in the backseat of a cab than in an Uber or Lyft car. One of the big reasons is that with Uber and Lyft the passengers also get rated and reviewed. Just like a restaurant or other place of business, if you have a bad review you are less likely to get a ride. Another reason people are more willing to get intimate in a taxi than Uber or Lyft, the drivers don’t seem to care. Most NYC cab drivers are more concerned with someone vomiting in their cab than two (or three) people bumping uglies.  

Of course I completely understand that when the mood is right for love, there isn’t much you can do to resist, but I feel the need to point out that the backseat of a cab is probably not the most sanitary place in the world.
