Only in Florida: That Morphine Is For My Back… Which I Hurt While Stripping

23? Damn Kayla, you got some city miles on you honey. Maybe it's all the morphine and oxycodone that's prematurely aging you. That's right folks, according to NBC 2 (link below) Kayla here had a run-in with the law recently that required her to come up with a fairly creative excuse for possessing two of the strongest painkillers available to consumers.

Monroe County Sheriff's Sgt. Ken Fricke spotted partially clad Kayla Gregg passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle in Sugarloaf Key on Monday. He knocked on the window and asked to see her identification. That's when he saw what appeared to be drugs in the woman's purse. One bag tested positive for cocaine and she was arrested.

 

(Kayla) told (the) sheriff's deputy she had drugs in her car for the back pain she suffers from being an adult dancer.

 

Deputies found other drugs in the car, including oxycodone, morphine and a smoking pipe. She remained in jail on Tuesday, facing multiple drug charges. Jail records don't indicate whether she's hired an attorney.
