The leather and the metal pieces in this are super sturdy and can pretty much hold up to whatever your day or night of using it has in store for you.  Bit gags like this one are common in pony play--wow, pony play is gorgeous, never done it but have always wanted to try it.  This bit gag is pretty much suited for whatever play you have in mind for it.  I really love how the silicone has zero taste to it. It is also most definitely for a woman, size-wise, and I would advise trying it on before your play begins to make sure that it fits the mouth of your sweet, drooling plaything.
