Free The Nipple is a new feature film based on the controversial, gender equality movement from this past summer. In case you weren't aware, the campaign is all about fighting the societal taboos our country still has over female nudity and the female body in general. To put it bluntly, glorifying graphic violence is A-OK but boobs and vaginas are a no-no that can get you arrested. That's fucked up, people.

Directed by actress Lina Esco (who co-stars and is topless!), the film follows Liv (Lola Kirke, Jemima's sister who is also topless!) and a group of outspoken women who start a revolution called "Free the Nipple," a stand to decriminalize female nudity. A mass movement of "Topless Warriors," backed by First Amendment lawyers, graffiti artists and national publicity stunts, takeover the Big Apple to protest censorship and public nudity laws in the U.S. The film has gotten the support of Miley Cyrus (who contributed a song to the film), Rumer Willis, Nico Tortorella, Lydia Hearst, Giles Matthey, Cara Delevingne and Russell Simmons.

Those brave, freedom fighters who dare to break the shackles of female oppression by publicly baring their tits in protest include Esco (including a scene in the bathtub), Kirke, writer and indie artist Michelle "Miss Knockout" Bracey, model and actress Nanna Lyhne, Emily Newhouse, Sarabeth Stroller and Natalie White. The film also stars Casey LaBow, Monique Coleman, Zach Grenier and Griffin Newman.
