Naked People Be Walkin’ & Ramblin’

I'll bet you didn't even know it, but we're in a bit of a renaissance period for naked people walking about. Sure, some call it walking, some call it ramblin', but whatever it is that you call it, people are doing an awful lot of it these days. Britain's "Naked Rambler" has been getting press lately, but a naked woman in Siberia is out to steal the walking naked crown. How about we break all this down?

That grizzled individual right there is 55-year old Stephen Gough, better known as the Naked Rambler. According to The New Zealand Herald, Gough is a former marine who has spent a whopping seven years in prison thanks to several stays that stemmed from him walking the countryside in the buff. 

Gough knows his naked rambling "not only goes against the standards of accepted public behaviour in any modern democratic society but also is liable to be alarming and morally and otherwise offensive to other, un-warned members of the public going about their ordinary business".

In Britain, judges have sentenced him for turning up in court naked when facing charges, and walking out of prison with nothing on also landed him straight back in trouble with the law.

"Without any demonstration of sensibility to the views of others and the behaviour that they might consider offensive, he insists upon his right to appear naked at all times and in all places, including in the courts, in the communal areas of prisons and on aeroplanes," the court said.

So yeah, he's out of touch with reality, but just wait until you get a load of this story. According to The Moscow Times, there's a woman walking around a town in Siberia in an attempt "to shed off evil spirits."

Footage captured by a cellphone and published online shows the woman, nude but for a purple turban, calmly walking barefoot across the snow, while holding a crying infant in her arms.

The video shows how she then bows and crosses herself at the gates of an Orthodox Christian church and walks in.

Inside, the unidentified woman told astonished believers she was exorcising "evil spirits," Siapress.ru said.

Okay, the British dude is delusional, but this woman is straight out of a fucking horror movie. Man alive that's some crazy shit, but what do you expect when your country's leader regularly walks around like this?
