Steel yourselves for more "won't someone think of the children" hysteria.
According to Philly.com (link below), clothing company Lands' End recently teamed up with GQ Magazine to send customers who ordered a certain amount of their overpriced clothing a free issue of GQ. Unfortunately for them, this promotion happened to coincide with GQ's decision to put a semi-nude picture of Emily Ratajkowski on their cover. Frankly, I'm more insulted that they felt the need to launch an "investigation" into whether or not Adam Levine is a douche. Everyone knows the answer to that one.
The mother of a "disturbed and fascinated" 14-year-old said the cover was "absolutely OBSCENE." Hers was one of "dozens of complaints" on Lands' End's Facebook page. There are irate references to "trash" and "smut" and "pornography" and even a "horrified" child.
Um, if I may. Lady, if you really think that's the worst thing your 14 year old son has seen, well, you're just a special breed of stupid. Then there's this woman...
Heike Jo Stoffregen Dodge? was among those who were offended but forgiving:
"I was quite upset ... But thank you for immediately sending an honest, humble apology. I believe in redemption (Praise Jesus, my Savior!). You are forgiven."
Hallelujah!
