Twenty Questions with Monique Symone

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was a rock/goth/nerd, but I hung out with anyone who was kind and fun to be around. I dated a bad boy, then a sweet girl, and enjoyed being single most of my senior year.

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I have always enjoyed porn, I love Marcus London, Sean Michaels, and Evan Stone. As for ladies who got me hot and bothered, Joanna Angel, Belladonna, Misty Stone, and Asa Akira.

3) How did you come up with your nom de porn and why did you change it from Amber Stars?

-I actually didn't mind my original porn name but when I first changed agencies before my current representation Ideal Image Models, they chose a new name for me.

4) What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

I would like to do a scene with all of the ladies I listed as my favorites to watch! I've been lucky enough to work with all three of the sexy men I listed.

5) Who is your favorite male performer/female performer and why?

-It's hard to choose a favorite, but I do love Gianna Michaels! She's gorgeous and her videos are so hot.

6) You are pretty busy on Twitter and Instagram. What is it like having that fan base online?

-I am not as good as I should be with social media, but I do love interacting with fans and industry friends. Knowing what dirty things I can do in my next video to turn people on is pretty awesome.

7) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

8) What advice would you give someone who wants to be a better sexual partner?

Listening and reading body language helps, but ultimately it comes down to communication. If you know exactly what you like, tell your partner, and vice versa. It makes for a satisfying experience and growth. Don't be afraid to try new things and just enjoy each other.

I wanted to be in a well-known magazine and I am currently published in the September issue of Hustler and King Magazine, but I would like to be a centerfold before I retire from the industry. I would like to earn a nomination/win an award and have a successful website.

12) What is your favorite type of scene to do?

Girl/Girl scenes are really a good time, but I do enjoy Boy/Girl and Boy/Boy/Girl scenes as well.

13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

-Definately Nyomi Banxxx. She is a very strong, level-headed and kind person. She has definitely pointed me in the right direction a few times. Misty Stone has inspired me as well.

14) If you could go back to the beginning of your career, is there anything you would do differently?

I would have done a bit more research on the industry and good representation before committing to anything.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

The Amazing Spiderman 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Malificent. All great flicks.

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

-Still love Belladonna, Tee Reel, Asa Akira and Evan Stone!

17) Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

I occasionally enjoy a toy but I'm mostly low-tech ;-)
