Pirelli Gets With The Program, Hires First “Plus-Size” Model

Candice Huffine, a noted model that doesn't fit the typical waif model type, has just made history by landing a place in the 2015 Pirelli Calendar. Bustle (link below) wrote up a nice piece about Candice that touts her curves as sexy, though it's a tad disheartening that we even have to make such declarations in this day and age. 

As you can see, Pirelli is even billing her as a "plus-size" model, but let's take a look at some facts. Huffine is a size 12, 5'11" tall with measurements of 38-33-43. According to the CDC, the average woman is 63.8" tall with a waist size of 37.5. Increase that height to Huffine's 71" inches, and the waist size for the "average" woman becomes 41.7". That makes Huffine's waist 1.3" above average. So come on now, can we stop calling beautiful women like Candice plus-sized? Please. 

Look at her naked and just try to tell me she's anything other than drop dead fucking gorgeous.
