Shakira Gets Thumbs Up on Facebook, But Where?

She's known for shaking her hips and making music videos that you can dance to and beat off to, but now Shakira has a new reason to be proud. She's the most "liked" musician on Facebook.

According to the music trade magazine Billboard, "The Latin music star is now the most-liked musician on Facebook, the singer announced on her page today (March 21). She's garnered over 86.3 million likes at press time, now edging out the 86.2 million of Rihanna." Now the question is: How will she make it up to Rihanna? Might we suggest:

That's a lot of thumbs up. We know where we'd like to put our thumbs up, and that's what we like, but nobody is sharing that on Facebook.

The singer, however, is speaking up about the social media honor. "Wow... I was just told I now have the most-followed page on Facebook in the world! I still cannot believe it!" the post reads. "I always wanted to have a lot of friends but never imagined it would be so many... 86 [million]! So humbled, can't thank you guys enough for your support. I feel so fortunate to have you."

We wish she chose this moment to talk dirty to us, but we'll take what we can get. And what we get is her self-titled new album being released this Tuesday (March 25). The lead single, "Can't Remember to Forget You," features the no. 2 in Facebook likes, Rihanna, and has peaked at No. 15 on the Hot 100.
