Bodies On Bodies (Women On Water)

CELEBRITY

FitMeInWhy do we call them "bodies of water" anyway? This is probably something we could look up, but we prefer to conjecture. Our theory is that the feeling of letting your body feel free and supported by the water is so akin to an intimate (if not sexual) experience that it only makes sense to think of the water as another complete being.

Our next theory has to do with the idea that the body is a temple, and touching water is often a spiritual experience, therefore the water is a temple and a body as well. The way Annie McGinty, Julia Hafstrom, Emily Senko, and Ali Michael handle their fluids certainly supports that last idea.
