Dylan Ryan’s Very Favorite Sex Toys

Continuing with the theme of my favorites, this next post is dedicated to one of my favorite parts of sex; the toys that can be used to make it out of this world. In an effort to help you get to know me better and also to add a little something to your sex lives, here are my top five sex toys and why I like them. Now keep in mind that the reasons I like them are, of course, me specific and the ways I use them could be very different from what you might get out of them. They are mere suggestion but also toys that I feel are full of possibility. Happy fucking, y'all. XXO

The Hitachi Magic Wand: Officially, Hitachi markets this toy as a "personal massager" but the majority of the Hitachis sold come from sex toy retailers both online and in stores and are used for the great purpose of reaching awesome orgasm. The Hitachi is hands down my favorite toy and the one I have used far and away more often than any other in both my personal and porn life. When necessary, it can get me off in less than thirty seconds, help distract me from large amounts of pain and make me squirt like nobody's business. That said, the Hitachi is not for everyone, it is a powerful implement, it only has two levels and both levels are higher than any battery-powered vibe. I love power in my toys and having used the Hitachi for so long, I am fairly incapable of coming from a less powerful vibe. For me, it's the Hitachi all the way. The other downside of this particular toy is that it must be plugged in, such is the source of its power. If you are looking for something light, compact and moveable, the Hitachi can prove annoying in its dependency on a wall socket. It's also loud as all get out and if privacy is important, you may find your intimate moments betrayed by its loud hum. All that considered however, I am a loyal Hitachi lover and if you have never tried it, give it a whirl, you might just find that you are too.

Black Nitrile Gloves: There is nothing like the snap of a glove as it is being pulled down a hand. To me the sound signals the beginning on a kinky good time and thrills me with the knowledge that a clean, smooth hand is going somewhere in me or on me. Not only do gloves act as barriers and help keep sex clean and free of errant hangnail and dirty hand worry but they create a smooth surface for lube to move on so that penetrative sex can stay slippery longer than usual. I find that gloves are particularly lovely for anal sex and sex acts like fisting are even a bit more comfortable with gloves. I like the nitrile gloves because, unlike Latex, they don't cause any skin allergies and are relatively inexpensive. They are available in many different sizes and colors, though black is my favorite, especially for BDSM play- just intimidating enough.

The Njoy Eleven: I love this toy. 11 inches and 2.75 lbs of solid fun. Stainless steel, smooth, weighty and shaped for g spot play, it is the perfect toy for people who squirt, want to squirt or love the feeling of being filled up and taken to the sexual limit. I think by now, it's no secret that I'm a gusher and that fisting is my favorite thing in the whole sex world (but more on that later) and these two facts contribute heavily to why I love The Eleven. The Eleven has two, count ‘em two heads; one for size queens like myself that is especially ideal for feeling like a fist and the other, somewhat smaller head that is still of good size with a great curve that hits the g-spot with mighty precision and is also a lot of fun in the keester as well. Now the downsides to this toy are that it is heavy. A person using this toy for solo play or the lucky individual wielding this toy in the pursuit of their sex partner's pleasure ought know that a tired arm might be part of the equation. That being said, it is likely that you will be more buff after using this toy than when you started. Your biceps will thank you. This toy is also COLD. It is stainless steel and if you go from zero to sixty and just stick it right on in, you will get a bit of a shock to the parts. Which can be fun, or not so much. Thankfully, the cold steeliness of the toy is an element that can be remedied by wrapping it in a warm towel or soaking it in warm water ahead of time. The toy conducts heat and will hold onto the warmth. It is super fun when it comes out of the body after use, it feels like a tasty sex arm, often causing me to want to cradle it lovingly. But I digress.

Sparkle Plugs: In keeping with the stainless steel theme, I present to you a set of sparkle anal plugs! I love butt plugs! I find them to be an ideal toy for a range of anal levels and interests. For me, I find them enjoyable because they go in and stay in, allowing me to engage in other kinds of sexual play and still have my butt involved. They are also great for getting my butt warmed up when I know I'm going to be wanting some anal down the line (if you know what I mean). This set is my favorite because I am partial to stainless steel, its smoothness and heat conduction are elements that I love and haven't found as much of in other toys. I also love this set because the ends of the plugs are set with Swarovski crystals of different colors and as a self-professed sparkle princess , I'm extra enamored of anything with jewels. Also, having a jewel where your butthole is is simply fun. It makes me feel extra exhibitionistic, which admittedly doesn't take a lot but is just so enjoyable. This set comes in three sizes so a person can pick their level of anal growth and makes a great gift. Almost like a diamond ring for your rear end!

My Favorite Strap-On: The Cherry Minx: I love a good strap-on almost as much as I love strap-on sex and as the first facilitates the second, it's something that a person needs in their arsenal to make it happen. This strap is from Aslan Leather and is my favorite because it's quality made, has just the right amount of give, has great cinching and tightening capabilities and comes in the sexiest red leather I have seen in a strap. I also adore the corset-style back which is thicker and more broad than a standard harness back, allowing for a secure fit to the body. My harness was made custom for me and generously gifted to me and I have been in love with it ever since. Aslan does custom orders and if you can go the route of having one made to fit your body, I highly recommend it. Now, possible downsides to this toy are that it is leather, making it more difficult to clean than a machine-washable harness. It is also more of a financial investment as leather is pricier. This particular harness also has limited dildo size range as there is a cut out center hole which will only accommodate dildos up to a certain size. There is an O ring attachment on the front of the harness that can be sized up or down which allows for play with smaller dildos and is great for folks who may want to pack and play with their harness. I have worn a lot of harnesses in my time, both professionally and privately and find this one to be a perfect mix of function and sex appeal which are the two most important things to me when I get strapped and ready to go.
