When a shipyard boss gets into serious trouble with his bank, he has to fight to save the business he's spent his life building. But hey, what's the harm in taking in a little burlesque show, or having some sex, or seeing a busty lady in the nude? He'll save the business eventually, he's fine, everything is cool.
Ready for a language lesson? Yay! The title of this movie comes from the idiom, "Ce n'est pas la mer à boire," which translates to "This isn't the sea to drink" or more precisely, "Come on, it's not as difficult as drinking the ocean." We think this is a much nicer phrase than "It's not rocket science or brain surgery" because people are actually able to do those things, and nobody has yet to drink the sea.
