The Encyclopedia Of Smut: D Is For Double Penetration

Ah, double penetration; just seeing those two words next to each other makes our hearts flutter. For some, it's a distant dream of ultra-hardcore mastery; for others, it's an everyday kind of thing. We love it, and we're happy that it starts with a D, because now we get to explore it as part of our weekly Encyclopedia of Smut post! Hooray for the alphabet!

Terminology: As far as the American heterosexual porn industry is concerned, double penetration is when one man puts his penis in a woman's vagina while another man puts his penis in the same woman's anus. Everybody got that? Cool.

In a vaguer sense, double penetration refers to any time two objects (whether flesh or silicone) enter a person at the same time. We're talking about double vaginal, double anal, and spit roasting (one object in the mouth, one object in the ass or pussy); as far as we know, no one counts any form of urethral sounding as one half of a double penetration event.

Wikipedia's assessment of "multiple penetration" includes a few terms that we rarely hear and one that we've never heard before, so it deserves a glance:

If one person is penetrated by two objects, it is generically called double penetration (sometimes abbreviated dp). Given the vagina, anus and mouth, there are several ways in which this can be done. These include:

· Simultaneous penetration of the anus by two penises or other objects. This is commonly called double anal or double stuffing.

· Simultaneous penetration of the vagina by two penises or other objects. This is commonly called double vaginal or double stuffing.

· Simultaneous penetration of the vagina and anus. If this is done using penises and/or strap-on dildos, this is sometimes called the sandwich or BigMac. The shocker (see above) accomplishes this using several fingers of one hand.

· Simultaneous penetration of the mouth and either the vagina or anus. If the penetrating objects are penises, this is sometimes called the spit roast or the Chinese finger trap."

Why does this feel so good?: What a great question! Obviously, double penetration isn't for everyone, but those who do enjoy it report feelings of intense fullness that makes each individual penetrating object seem larger and more detailed. If you enjoy G-spot stimulation, or even if you have trouble accessing the G-spot with intercourse, double penetration can help. Allegedly (because, remember, we're not medically trained in any form), the object penetrating the ass "rubs up against the backside of the G-spot" as it pushes the other object in such a way that can curve it into the beloved Grafenberg zone. Best Positions: If you're looking to get some double penetration in your life, there are a number of easy ways to approach it. Since you're probably already familiar with anal penetration, we don't have to remind you how important lubrication is. DVDA: Have you ever heard of DVDA? As you can probably tell, it stands for "Double Vaginal, Double Anal," and it's a mythical position dreamed up by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for their NC-17 masterpiece, "Orgazmo."
