Okay, let's be honest. No one was going to lose the Superstar Showdown with Asa Akira and Katsuni. Like, you're just not. Even the judges agree! Of course, it doesn't hurt that the judges got really up close and personal shows from each of the stars and their partners, as well as what some might call a little bribery of the fuckery kind. The set-up is pretty simple. Two judges and a hostess—in this case, badass Annie Cruz and Charmaine Star judge while Michelle Maylene is the perky hostess—watch the two stars "compete" in different events on a light-up platform. On the other hand, the hotness of Asa Akira's scenes seem dependent on her partner rather than her own show-woman-ship.

Also, and this shouldn't even really be an aside, but the fact that this is the all-Asian edition is a little troublesome. I get that it's a niche or whatever, but come on. (Note: all female Asian—none of the guys are Asian. What's that about?)

On the plus side, the movie is quite long and has two bonus scenes with Asa Akira; the first, with Tori Black, is from a previous Showdown and is pretty hot. The second is a cheesy "massage parlor" happy ending scene. In any case, fans of either star will find a lot to like in this Showdown. It's probably not something I'd seek out on my own, but I'm glad to be, err, exposed to Katsuni's work.

Why this might appeal to straight girls:

The chemistry is super hot and the scenes were creative without being overly acrobatic or mechanical. Splitting it up into different categories means that the blowjob/penetration/anal/blowjob/money shot routine is ditched in favor of a scene that focuses solely on a hand job, for instance, which is refreshing.

Plus, you can see the sweat on the performers. By the end, everyone is flushed and messy, which we all know is the key to great sex.
