Talking To Oneself, Topless: Why Not?

[jwplayer id="7185911"]

We've caught glimpses of Helen Slater in our glimpses of ABC's The Lying Game, and you may have seen her as Superman's cousin in 1984's Supergirl. But, as film buffs here, we're interested in delving deeper into lesser known works, ones that are more obscure, more... naked.

That's just what we get here, in A House in the Hills from 1993. Although the film sounds like it skews a bit dramatic — what with an aspiring actress housesitting (of course!) and finding herself trying to outwile a deadly ex-con — all seems at peace in this scene. A placid full-length mirror is Ms. Slater's only companion, and though it can't answer her questions perhaps its quiet reflection says it a— or, whatever, honestly we weren't really paying attention to the words. But we appreciate the artistry. You see, we are quite cultured, taking the time to know and appreciate an actor's entire oeuvre.
