A Field Guide To Skin Diamond

Every time we think we know something about Skin Diamond, she changes our minds. We thought she was 100% alt-porn and then suddenly she's working with Elegant Angel. We thought she was from Europe and it turns out she's from everywhere. Today, we're getting our facts straight.

Skin Diamond was born in Ventura, California, but she travelled all over the place (because of her father's missionary work) before settling in Scotland when she was four. When she was in her teens, she started reading the alternative glamour magazine Bizarre, and decided that she would someday become a model and be on Bizarre's cover. When the magazine held a cover star contest, Skin entered, won, and got to pose in a sexy 1970s style photoshoot that is still some of her best modeling work to date.

She started doing porn in 2009 when Burning Angel approached her. She was living in Scotland and she still had pink hair, so she was perfect for "Joanna Angel And James Deen's European Vacation" as well as "No Panties Allowed." Since then, she's worked with a handful of marvelous companies and received lots of attention outside of the alt-porn community, but she still has strong ties with Joanna Angel and company. "I even have a Burning Angel tattoo!" Skin told X-Critic. "If it weren't for Joanna I wouldn't be doing any of this at all... She gave me the opportunities and we became good friends along the way. Let's see, what else should you know? Interested in Skin's tattoos? She got the feather on her wrist after her first trip to a fetish club when she got to watch Masuimi Max strut her stuff on stage. The letters LBST on her forearm stand for Love, Booze, Sex, and Tattoos. That one is pretty straightforward.

What can we expect from Skin in the future? Continued awesomeness. As of late February, she's been represented by the legendary Mark Spiegler, and we've definitely noticed her popping up on different projects. But what does she want? Well, she has a little thing for needle play, but since that's not as consumer-friendly as other niches, she's down for whatever. She's even said that she wants to play Storm in an "X-Men" parody! We think the resemblance is uncanny.
