Tinto Brass's "Paprika" tells the tale of a poor young country girl who moves to the city and starts working at a brothel in the hopes of raising enough money to help her fiance start her own business. But you could be forgiven if you missed all that plot, and simply saw it as the study of the naked body of a gorgeous, voluptuous young actress named Debora Caprioglio.
Yes, "Paprika" has a plot and moral center, but more important than that are the copious scenes of Debora nude: in the bath, grinding up against johns, and hard at work...you know, doing what those brothel workers are known for. It's a pretty sexy piece of work...but then again, we wouldn't expect otherwise from the director of "Caligula."
