Not too long ago, public nudity aficionados (and confusing activisits) FEMEN took Facebook to task for suspending their profile page (and by took Facebook to task, we mean published a topless photo). Strange as it may seem, their protest apparently worked: FEMEN is back on Facebook.
Now, we don't want to make too many assumptions based on this admittedly small victory—but is it possible that this is the beginning of a bold new frontier on Facebook, where nudity-friendly sites (we're sure we could think of a few) might be able to hawk their wares on Facebook without fear of censorship? Where—gasp!—body parts might be shown on Facebook, just because? Okay, probably not—but a dirty website can dream, right?
[Next up: FEMEN takes on YouTube, where they've also found themselves banned. No, we're not joking.]
