Marital Aid Test Kitchen: Lelo’s Mia

Two and a half years ago, Lelo introduced the Mia, a USB-powered vibrator that rocked my socks. Now they're back with a new, updated version: but does newer mean better?

Well, by my count, yes it does. Though Mia 2.0 is largely similar to her predecessor (there's not much change you can make in an itty bitty lipstick vibe, after all), she does have a few key differences. Firstly, she's now available in a bold black, for those (like me) who don't want all their toys in girly pinks and purples. Secondly (and vastly more importantly), she's got a stronger motor that offers a much more powerful kick. And as anyone knows, the way to a girl's heart is with a very powerful motor.

That said, the Mia does have a few drawbacks: because of its size, shape, and smooth surface, it's best for women who just need vibration, and aren't relying on their toy to have that extra special curved shape (or any kind of deliciously bumpy exterior). But if that happens to be you, well: a palm-sized toy that packs a wallop, and can be discreetly charged by your computer? Yeah, that's a pretty sweet deal...and one I highly recommend picking up.
