The veteran editor Stitch Mahoney thinks so, and he would know! He's reviving the "Babes Ballin' Boys" series, a franchise that focuses on hot ladies dominating men with the help of massive strap-on dildos. We had to learn more.

This Brooklyn-born porn professional has been in the game since 1999, shooting and editing Bizarre Video fetish films with his wife (and former pornstar) Alisha Angel. Now Pleasure Productions has charged these two with resurrecting the "Babes Ballin' Boys" line, and they're going to need all their kinky expertise to pull this classic from the ashes. Will the porn-viewing crowd welcome this role reversal? Only time will tell.

But since we're impatient, we had a little chat with Stitch Mahoney about his direction, his drive, and the overall trajectory of this franchise. It's a serious ball game out there, but Stitch is happy to step up to the plate.

Fleshbot: Tell us a bit about you. Where are you from? When/how did you begin editing/directing movies? How did you get involved in the adult industry?
Stitch: Where do I start? I'm thirty-five years old and originally from Brooklyn, NY. I started in the business in 1999, editing fetish and bondage compilations with Bizarre Video, and eventually started shooting and editing all the Bizarre titles in the mid-2000's. During that time I met my wife (former performer Alisha Angel), who is now my co-director of all my projects. She is actually the brains behind "Babes Ballin' Boys." She writes and sets up [the shoots] and I make them happen.

Personal question: have you ever been balled by a babe?
Haha, no. I have never been balled myself. I'm a pervert, but being balled isn't my thing.

What led you to take on the job of directing "Babes Ballin' Boys"?
I was approached by Adam Hasner of Pleasure Productions to resurrect this line. Adam and I go back a long time; we know each other from Brooklyn and eventually worked together at Bizarre for five years or so. So he knows my fetish background and thought Alisha and I would like to take this project on.

So far you've completed "Babes Ballin' Boys 20" and number twenty-one is in post-production. Who stars in each film?
"Babes Ballin' Boys 20" stars Sea J Raw, Crissy Moon, CeCe Stone, Alexa Jaymes, Madison Young, Mark Frenchy, Deviant Kade, Jack Hammer, and Kid Dynamite. So far, the "Babes Ballin' Boys 21" cast list includes Charley Chase, Lizz Tayler, Asia Zo, Kaitlin Rush, Adam Wellington, Gabriel D'alessandro, Tino Santana, and John Thomas.

Who would you like to have star in future installments of "Babes Ballin' Boys"? That is, who would be your dream girl/boy team to ball and be balled?
I think Jenna Haze would be really good at fucking a dude in the butt. Ha! Any guy will do.

In the press release sent out by Pleasure Productions, you mention putting a "reality spin" on the "Babes Ballin' Boys" line, and drawing from the performers' real-life experiences. How do these ideas impact the movie?
Well, we didn't want to just shoot five strap-on scenes and slap them together, so we considered the whole reality TV movement. We actually put up advertisement online looking for guys to work with pornstars on a real set... but with a twist. So we interviewed the guys beforehand: some of them have had similar experiences in their personal lives, some on film, and some had never tried anything like this. We played off their experiences and their stories. Also, some of the girls had never done this and jumped at the chance to be in control.

Besides directing permutations of the "Babes Ballin' Boys" franchise, are there any other directing projects you have planned?
Right now we are focusing on the "Ballin'" thing. We are putting together more "Babes Ballin' Boys," plus "MILFs Ballin' Boys," "Asians Ballin' Boys," Babes Ballin' Brothas" etc.

All of the "Babes Ballin' Boys" videos feature female-dominant action. Do you plan on preserving that aspect throughout your revival, or will there be instances of turnabout, role reversal, or male dominance?
Yes, we plan to keep it going the same way. If we let the guy fuck the girl it will be any old porno. We are trying to stay away from normal. Every project we shoot in the future will always have some fetish twist.

Do you feel it's possible for men to display dominant sexual behavior while being penetrated, or does that automatically hand power over to the strap-on wielding woman?
I guess it's hard to be dominant with a big dildo up your butt. So I think it gives the girl a lot of power. After the shoot, a few of the girls said to me, "Wow, that's what it feels like to be the one on top and in control!"
