Did Vivid Really Offer Nadya “Octomom” Suleman A $1 Million Contract?

TMZ is reporting that Vivid has just offered Nadya "Octomom" Suleman upwards of one million dollars to be the latest addition to their "Vivid Celeb"—but frankly, we're not sure we believe them.

Why so suspicious?

Nadya Suleman doesn't fit Vivid's image. Former Vivid Celeb stars: former Miss USA Kelli McCarty, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian... are we seeing a pattern here? Yeah, we are: and it's one that doesn't include uber-MILF Nadya Suleman. Remember, Vivid isn't Red Light District, who might happily add a Nadya Suleman sex tape to their collection, alongside Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco.

There's no mention of this on the porno media wires. Since it's unlikely that Ms. Suleman is really going to, uh, contaminate her brand with pornstardom, any offer of a contract would have to be a PR stunt (like when Cezar Capone tried to reel in Sarah Palin.). And what good is a PR stunt if it isn't publicized? If this were real, it's the kind of thing AVN would be all over—and we haven't heard a peep out of them.

Then again... a bad economy does make people act unpredictably—perhaps Vivid's broadening their criteria in the search for their next star? Or maybe, in an act of guerrilla marketing, they leaked this letter to TMZ, and didn't send out a press release to the porn media?
