“I, Cuckold”: When Adultery Isn’t Funny

We wept big round tears at this film which takes the lighthearted pre-parody porn niche of cuckolding and makes it sad, sad, sad. These men only want their wives to be happy; why must there be so much pain?

Recent cuckolding movies have played cuckolding for comedy, but prolific director Jim Powers makes this epic of sadness, shame, and ridicule a real tearjerker as we watch bereft husbands be tormented by their wives' infidelity in broad daylight.

If anything, Powers is an equal opportunity humiliator, as we've often watched real tears in the behind the scenes featurettes of his other videos. But in "I, Cuckold" it's the guys' turn.

Even if it's tongue-in-cheekness is a little mean-spirited, there is always an uncomfortable bit of reality in Jim Powers' videos, and that always makes them compelling.
