It's LGBTQ Pride Week, and yes, even the straight side of Fleshbot feels like getting in the holiday spirit! We thought it'd be fun to share some of our favorite queer porn companies with you because, you know, we're proud of them.

Not only are these organizations and individuals toying with the norms of gender and sexuality, they're also making some of the hottest porn around. Pornstars love to work with them, fans love to watch their products, and frankly, they deserve love all year-round. So without further ado...

The owners of Triangle Films, Kathy and Shoosh, are absolutely adorable. We know that's not the most professional way to characterize them, but we can't help it; we really like them. Adorable only gets you so far in the adult industry, but luckily, they happen to make some of the most exquisite lesbian pornography ever seen. If you haven't watched "River Rock Women's Prison," then do yourself a favor and watch the film that won Hottest Kink Movie and Hottest Dyke Movie at the 2010 Feminist Porn Awards. Pink & White puts out the "Crash Pad" movies, a long-running series about "a clandestine San Francisco apartment where a voyeuristic landlord supplies keys to the pad's pleasure-seeking occupants so that she can observe their sexual escapades through hidden cameras" (the website explains it better than I can). The "Crash Pad" just celebrated its 100th episode with a very special tryst between Nina Hartley and Jiz Lee! (Jiz calls Nina "Sir," how hot is that?) You know 100 episodes is the magic number for syndication, right? Coming soon to TNT...

Courtney Trouble
Everything this woman does touches us (now if only she would actually touch us). She's a photographer, director, porn star, and all-around porn savant. Her first film, "No Fauxxx Roulette," came out in 2009 and almost immediately won a Feminist Porn Award for Most Deliciously Diverse Cast. The following year, her film "Speakeasy" won another FPA for Most Tantalizing Trans Film. What else has she been up to? She's been running NoFauxxx.com since 2002 and QueerPorn.TV since last year. Watch this woman; everyone else is.

Girlfriends Films
Oddly, Girlfriends Films says they were born out of a "cutting-edge, real-life documentary on lesbian sex hatched in a UCLA filmmaking class." We guess good porn can come from anywhere! Their "Women Seeking Women" series has been named AVN's Best All-Girl Series for four years in a now, and "Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 12" was Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release of 2011! Not only are they talented producers, but they have big hearts as well: they have a charity program through which they donate $1000 to deserving organizations every month! In April, they gave the money to Planned Parenthood on Behalf of Melissa Monet, and in May, it was Lamba Legal (a non-profit charity committed to achieving full recognition of LGBT civil rights) who got the cash.

Tristan Taormino
Her work isn't explicitly queer, but A) she shoots the biggest names in the queer porn world, B) she herself is a queer individual, and C) even her straight stuff has the air of openness and boundary breaking that we've come to love about queer porn.
