Scarlett Johansson Gets Under the Skin

She's naked! Yes, Scarlett Johansson is fully nude in her next movie, Under the Skin. Full-frontal nudity. She's explains why, but, really, no explanation is necessary.

The images of her poon-first stills have already made the rounds of on the Internet, and the Daily News has the story (link below). The images are a bit blurry, and we hope that's due to the poor reproduction copied endlessly on message boards and not some arty pretense by the film's director. But only time will tell.

In the meantime, Scarlett is telling why she did it. "'The nudity is written in to the script and I hope the audience agrees that it's, you know, it's not really indulging,' she told MTV.

"'It's almost like biological in a weird way, I think, and there is a lot of intention behind it.'"

Biological? Yes, we're definitely having a biological reaction to seeing even the poorly rendered images. And we don't need a scientist to tell us why.

According to the Daily News, "The stills have been quietly released amid an undergound viral marketing campaign driving traffic to a site promoting the low-budget sci-fi movie, adapted from a Michel Faber novel."

Well, it's working. We want to see the movie. We posted the article and reproduced the images for the umpteenth time. And now you want to see the movie, too, right? Mission accomplished.
