Porn Star Nikki Benz Runs for Mayor of Toronto, 2014

The only thing more pathetic than politics in Washington, DC, nowadays is Toronto politics. It's drunken, crack-addicted mayor, Rob Ford, will have some stiff competition in his bid for re-election, as porn star and busty blonde Nikki Benz has thrown her bra in the ring.

Nikki has announced her candidacy in a Brazzers-branded video: "'Toronto needs someone who understands and exudes transparency,' said Benz, taking a porn-star swipe at embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. 'I have high concerns about our city's management. You can search my positions, but only if you're over 18.'"

There are a lot of such "jokes" in the video, which makes the news junkie in us question the legitimacy of her run. It sure feels like a promotional ploy, one that we're now vested in as we have reported on the report on it.

"Benz, who resides in Los Angeles, broke into the biz in 2003, was nominated for XBIZ Awards as Crossover Star of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. In 2011, she was tapped as Penthouse Pet of the Year," writes Xbiz, which makes us doubly suspicious. Why would Nikki want to lower her station in life by entering politics?

The truth of the matter is who cares? We get to see more Nikki naked, and that's a platform we can support.
