Twenty Questions with Hot Porno Newbie Vera Drake

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I was honestly kind of reclusive, haha. I don't think many people even knew who I was. I am typically very shy and quiet. Most of my friends were in bands and what not, so I would spend the majority of my time with them at their shows and just listening to music. Don't get me wrong, though.. I can be a little party animal every now and then.  I would hang out will all sorts of kids, but I usually ended up dating the tall, skinny, sad, punk boys. They've always been my favorite. 

2) Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry?

Yes, I was most definitely a fan! I was really, really sexually open when I was younger and I didn't know too much about porn, but I had always been so interested in it all. Something about it made me so curious.

3) How did you come up with your nom de porn?
I actually didn't put too much thought into my name... It's weird, but for some reason I have always wished I was named Vera. Something about it is so mysterious and dark to me, which I love. As far as the last name Drake, I just though the two sounded nice together. A friend helped me pick it out on set at my first Burning Angel shoot!  However, I realized shortly after my first scene was released that "Vera Drake" is the title of a movie about a woman who performed illegal abortions in the 1950s..... Whaaaaaaaaaat? Oops.

4) What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

I would freak out with excitement if I ever got to shoot a scene with Manuel Ferrara. I've wanted to fuck him since I was like 14. No joke.

5) Who is your favorite male performer/female performer and why?

My favorite male performer has always been Manuel. I have a thing for accents and every time I've ever watched him in a video he's so passionate and sensual. He makes it all seem 100% real, which is kind of the goal.   My favorite female performer ever is Sasha Grey. She was in the first porno I've ever watched. I've never seen a girl who can take a dick as well as her.

6) You seem to really love your fans and respond to them a lot on Twitter. Tell me how having this fan base has changed your life.

Having them is so great! My fans are always so supportive and loving. I've met some really awesome people via social media. I love to hear from them and I try to respond whenever I have a chance.

7) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

You get to meet some really awesome people, have the most fun ever in the entire world, and have amazing sex. What more could you need?

11) How was Tommy Pistol to work with?

Tommy was an absolute pleasure to work with. I did my first scene with him and he made me feel so comfortable. He is such a sweetheart and one of the funniest dudes around. I'd work with him again anytime!

12) All three of your scenes so far have been for Burning Angel. Any chance you will work for someone else?

I would most definitely work with another company, I'd love to get out and about and work more often. I just stick with BA right now because I don't think I've ever been around such a wonderful group of people. I always have a great time on set with them.

13) Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

I have crazy amount of respect for Joanna Angel. She is the epitome of a smart, confident, strong female. Even though she has been very successful and what not, she is still such a genuine and down to earth person.

14) What is the best advice you can offer on how to please a woman sexually?

Honestly, just listen to her.. Be attentive to what turns HER on. Every girl is different. She will tell you what she wants and if she doesn't it's not too hard to tune in and figure it out. A lot of guys don't listen.. One thing I've learned about having sex is that it's a team effort. If you go through the entire thing only focused on yourself, it's about half as enjoyable.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?
I don't watch too many movies, but I watched this CRAZY one recently called Oldboy. I watched the American remake of the original. It is about a guy who is imprisoned and brainwashed in a hotel room for 20 years then is released. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who might watch it, but it's nuts. Check it out.

16) How about the best porno movie?

I actually saw Snow White XXX the other day at a friends house and thought it was super cool. Snow White is my favorite childhood movie, so it was really fun to watch it as a porno. They did a great job.
