Photographer Decides Not To Display The Leaked Nude Photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton After All

In the fastest turnaround since Van Halen decided after about an hour not to reunite with David Lee Roth, photographer XVALA has decided not to display the leaked nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton as part of his upcoming exhibition "Fear Google."

His decision took roughly 48 hours after the announcement was made, which was a bad move on his part as no one's going to go now. He should've just not included them and just never announce it. According to The Independent (link below), he's got a great idea on how to bring in the crowds without those photos.

Even more unsurprisingly, it seems that while the leaked nude photos will no longer feature, XVALA has used the publicity wisely to relaunch it with his own nude life-size images.

This is the same line of reasoning used by the Underpants Gnomes on South Park.

Cory Allen Contemporary Art, or CACA gallery owner Cory Allen released the following statement about the decision not to use the photos.

"The public's response to cancel the event wasn't just about invasion of privacy, but becoming more of an issue of the exploitation of women; specifically the two celebrities. Empathising with these real concerns, the artist decided to turn the cameras around on him; wanting the focus to be about an individual's privacy and not just the exploitation of women."

At least he's willing to exploit himself.
