New Zealand Company Makes Up For Its Boner With Free Lollies!

One New Zealand candy company cocked up big time. They recently farmed out some of their candy production to a Chinese company, who "accidentally" added penis shaped gummies to packs aimed at children called Dragon Sweets.

According to Stuff New Zealand (link below), the company Dutch Rusk took the complaint very seriously.

"When first someone told us we thought they were joking, it can't be right.

"But they said no, it's honestly true so they sent us a bag. Then another phone call came a couple of days later and we thought, 'what's going on?' and got everything sent back."

One out of every 20 or 30 bags would have one or two little gummy penises in them, he said.

This little boner cost them thousands, especially considering they had to make up for their mistake with free product.

The company had apologised to the customers and compensated them with free lollies.

The Chinese company, for their part, has no regrets.

The lollies were not considered offensive in China, where the shape was a symbol of fertility and health. In fact, they are marketed and sold around the world as Penis Gummies.

I don't know though, this feels like the work of Rainbow Randolph to me...
