Male Birth Control Is Here To Give Guys A New Thing To Lie About Having Taken

Just as guys were starting to wring completely dry the "I've-had-a-vasectomy" excuse, science has stepped in to give guys a new thing to lie about to unsuspecting women they want to bang without a condom. According to Bust (link below), Vasalgel is an injectable form of male birth control that worked like gangbusters in baboons, so of course it'll work on men.

Vasalgel is actually an injection into the vas deferens, the tubes that transport sperm, where it forms a sort of plug. This will prevent sperm from passing through, AKA, no swimmers will make it up the channels to fertilize a woman's egg. Now since your man has probably sprinted half-way to Canada after hearing "injection" let's clarify: this procedure is less traumatic, and reversible, than a vasectomy, and will likely offer a local anesthetic. If a woman can squeeze an eight pound infant out of her body, men can take a small prick to the scrotum.

We here at SK Intertainment love a good pun, or ten, but that last one crosses the line. As a self-proclaimed progressive male, however, I do think that this is a great step forward for equality, and will more than likely give old white men pause when making new laws about birth control. We know how much they love to legislate women's bodies, so it's time to see if they're willing to put their money where their injected vas deferens is.
