“The Dance of Reality” Has it All: Boobs, Butt, Bush, and Peeing On A Dead Guy

Acting can be incredibly taxing. Giving your all, really diving into a character... it's harder than most people think. Those few great actors face whatever challenge is in front of them and amaze us with their talent. Take Pamela Flores for example; She is a bona fide opera singer, she can act, and she can pee on a guy in a movie. Now that what I call a triple threat.  

The film by Alejandro Jodorowsky, La danza de la realidad (The Dance of Reality), is part autobiography about his unhappy childhood, part political thriller, part oddball comedy, part freak show, with a little Fellini mixed in, and topped off with an opera singer peeing on a dead guy. This movie may have a lot of parts, but Flores has no problem showing off all of her parts for the sake of the movie. While the movie probably won’t make a lot of sense to people, at least we have a few moments of gawking at Flores completely nude in all her curvy glory. She also pees on a guy. And I mean really pees on a guy, who is pretending to be dead... Or he might actually be dead, I have no idea; this is a weird film. I hear crying on a camera is hard, I can’t imagine the focus it takes to pee on a guy. 

I don’t know if I got every metaphor in this movie, but I sure as hell got those two unmissable metaphors: Flores' giant breasts. Those metaphors were easy to understand and ones we all will remember.
