Twenty Questions with “Library Girl” Kendra Sunderland

Hot Kendra Sunderland is known to the world as "Library Girl" for her recent arrest for masturbating on cam in the Oregon State University Library while she was a student there in Corvallis.  She is facing a year behind bars for having that fun and Pipedream Products has given a sex toy endorsement with a line of "Library Girl" toys that are headed into stores later this year.  The video of her getting off has gone viral and Sunderland is now quite infamous.  She has pleaded not guilty to the charges through her attorney and is scheduled to go back to court on this in late April.  Here are her answers to twenty questions.

1) What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

I changed a lot throughout high school. My freshman year I was a good girl and dated a soccer player who got really good grades. Then my sophomore year I dated a stoner and started to smoke as well. All of my friends were guys and I turned into this girl who really didn't care about anything. I fought with my parents a lot and would sneak out at night to go smoke with my friends. My Junior year I was dating a guy who got me to quit smoking but when we broke up I started again. All of my friends were stoners and we would skip class. Then near the end of my junior year, my parents sent me to live with my aunt and my uncle because I wasn't following the rules. When I lived with them I didn't have any friends and I didn't smoke. I would just go to school, come back, do homework, go to bed and that was it. Not long after, I left there and went back home to live with my parents again. I would say I was a better girl And was doing better in school. I made new friends that were good influences my senior year. I didn't have many classes but I had a job working for my best friend’s parents at a manufacturing company. She later became my roommate in college. So I'd say throughout high school I went from being a good girl, to a stoner who didn't care about anything, to a stoner who still got her work done.

2) Were you a porn fan before this library stuff all happened? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

I was definitely a porn fan before all this happened. I would watch it all the time but never had a favorite porn star, it was more of just random videos on porn hub that I would find. Fun fact, I actually got in trouble when I was younger for watching girls make out on YouTube. My parents took away my iPod after that. But I have always been someone that would masturbate daily and was comfortable with her sexuality.

3) Would you ever want to be a full-on porn star?

Some people would argue that I am already in pornography, but it is such a wide term. I definitely don't plan on doing hardcore porn, with the actors and the camera crew telling you what to do. I have nothing against it I just don't see that it's for me. I would rather choose my own partner and do homemade videos or cam shows. Plus I see a future for myself in so many other parts of this industry.

4) Why did you want to do what you did in the library?

I chose to go to the library because it was the closest public place to me that had Wi-Fi and I knew there wouldn't be that many people around. It's also always been a fantasy for guys to see a college girl in the library "studying". I feel like places like these are such a turn on because of the chances of getting caught in the act. They like to think about all the possible things that I would do if someone caught me. So I knew that I would attract more attention on the cam-site and would have a better chance at making more money.

5) Did you ever think that what happened in the library was going to be such a big deal with people?

At first, I thought it was only my viewers on the site that would see this. I had no idea that it would get this much attention and get millions of views. Even after I found out that people knew about it I never thought that I would be on the news but it doesn't surprise me that people are so shocked or interested in it, I mean The headlines do really catch your attention.

6) What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

7) How did the Corvallis police treat you?

The Corvallis police were actually very nice. He told me that regardless of what I've done I don't deserve to be harassed. He was very sweet but of course he had to watch the video for research so it was a little awkward!

8) How has all of the media attention been for you?

All of this media attention hasn't bothered me as much as people think it would. Yeah it sucks when the news writes lies and says that I was arrested and kicked out of school, especially when my grandparents watch the news and thought I was still in school but I've never been one of those girls to run and hide when people talk about me. I've stood up and taken responsibility for what I've done and chose to embrace it. Interviews were hard at first because I wasn't used to it but now I feel like I've got them down and I actually enjoy them!

9) What are the best things that have come from this experience so far?

I would say the best thing that has come from this so far is meeting all these people that are willing to make my dreams come true. They heard what I wanted to do with my life and have worked so hard to make it happen for me. For example, I said I was upset about getting kicked off of my old cam site so the people from playwithme.com gave me the opportunity to cam again with my own website called PlaywithKendra.com. A company called bang you later felt bad for me about the charge I was getting so they flew me up to Canada and gave me money to cover the possible fine. I said I wanted to be in a magazine and Penthouse booked me a shoot and put me in their May issue. I said I want my own toy line and Pipedream products made it happen within two weeks! This kind of kindness that these people have shown me is something I will never forget!

10) What advice would you give to wanted to be a better sexual partner?

My advice for being a better sex partner is FOREPLAY!! Make it interesting for the girl instead of just going straight to having sex! Also if you don't eat it you shouldn't be able to beat it! The clit is a very important way for a girl to get off! And one last thing, if a girl wanted someone who was quiet during sex they would have sex with a dildo. 12) Do you think you are going to go back to school at Oregon State University?

I have no plans to go back to school and even if I did, I'm not allowed on OSU's campus. I also heard rumors that they took away my credits I had already earned. Talk about a waste of money (a lot of it too if I might add).

13) What are your feelings on the concept of “public indecency” overall?

My feelings on public indecency are complicated. It really depends on the situation. When I think about public indecency I think of someone who is trying to expose themselves to people in public or little kids on the playground. In my case, I was exposing myself to a camera that was in the corner of a desk. Nobody in the library had seen my lady parts. That's where it seems unfair to me.

14) What do you most want to achieve in life?

The thing that I want to achieve the most in life is never having to worry about paying my rent or any other financial issues. I want to be so stable in my life that I'm able to help other people who need it. I want to be able to tell my kids that I worked hard to make my dreams come true regardless of how wrong or far fetched people thought they were. I would love to be a role model for girls who get slut-shamed just for being themselves because there is nothing wrong with being in touch with your sexuality.

15) What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

The best mainstream movie I've seen lately is "The Interview". I know a lot of people have their thoughts about that movie but when this all came out it just made me laugh uncontrollably. especially the part where James Franco is listening to people bash on him! My favorite quote would have to be "they hate us cause they ain't us"! It made this whole situation easy for me and helped me remember not to listen to what people say about my life as long as I'm happy!

16) How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

Lately I've been watching a lot of Bonnie Rotten! She also got molded for Pipedream and she seems like such an awesome chick! I also really like Jenna Jameson! I get told a lot that I remind people of her! And all I can say is no way, she's way hotter than me!

17) Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

I would definitely say that I'm more into toys then doing it my self! I get a lot of requests to finger myself but it's never something I liked doing! Plus my nails are so long I think it would hurt! When I was younger I used to take this back massager that we had and would hide it in my room!  If I could fuck a celebrity it would be both of the Franco brothers at the same time... But if I couldn't have both I’d go for James! I don't care how many guys he's kissed. For a girl I would choose Jenna Jameson for sure cause who wouldn't want to watch that?! 

19) What do you have coming up?

I have so many things coming up next for me! I'm going on a trip to Las Vegas at the beginning of April for a lingerie show and hopefully starting my own line of lingerie cause that's always been another one of my dreams! Also my spread In Penthouse magazine will be in the May issue and I definitely can't wait for that! Other than that I'm excited for the multiple appearances for my own toy line and getting to meet more really cool people on my travels!
