Portland Planned Parenthood Installs IUD-Shaped Bike Racks And IUDs

Planned Parenthood's Oregon state headquarters in Portland, Oregon recently had these super-awesome IUD-shaped bike racks installed outside of their offices.  They were made by artist Johnny Barton and were art directed by Sarah Mosely to represent the very important work done by Planned Parenthood's health centers and administrative facilities.  I love how these look and how they represent just how normal it is to have birth control in one's life.  We all have sex and we all need to deal with making these choices.  (Yeah, you can just masturbate but well, the insertion part is super cool as I have tried to show you on this site, you know?)

Learned something?  I also love the pretty colors of the racks.  There is really no reason that this stuff just should not be front and center a lot more places.  I have never understood how in this country how violence is OK but sex and everything around sex--including personal medical care--is obscene.  So fucking weird.  I do not understand the world I live in at all.

I can not recommend visiting and supporting your local Planned Parenthood enough.  If you like fucking, do it smart and safe.
