#TBT Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar Were the Only Reasons to Watch “Batman Forever”

Sugar and Spice Were the Only Thing Nice

Before we had Christopher Nolan’s super dark Batman in the Dark Knight Trilogy, we had the goofy and silly Joel Schumacher’s comic-book-come-to-life Batman in Batman Forever, which was pretty awful and rather difficult to watch. The only thing that kept us glued to the screen was seeing Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar as Two-Face’s sexy girlfriends.  

Sugar and Spice are described as Two-Face’s good assistant and bad assistant, but I think that was the polite way of saying girlfriend. I believe the film had a PG-13 rating so it couldn’t get too risqué. Still, Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar no doubt made this movie worth watching. I can remember hoping there would be some kind of spin-off that would just focus on Sugar and Spice, but sadly Joel Schumacher went on to make the famous Batman with nipples starring George Clooney, which killed the franchise until the Nolan re-boot. Look, the later Batman films were total camp and pretty bad in every single element except for putting beautiful women in beautiful clothes. Just try to imagine watch Batman Forever with Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar in incredibly sexy lingerie. Yeah, it would have truly been two hours of your life you could never get back. Honestly, seeing these pictures has me consider watching this horrible movie just to see Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar in these outfits.  

Halloween has come and gone, but if you know some people who love to dress up in costumes that aren’t the run-of-the-mill, then you should suggest Sugar and Spice from Batman Forever.
