Here’s Why Sarah Jessica Parker Never Went Topless on “Sex and The City”

If you ever found yourself sitting disappointed on your couch because you watched another episode of Sex and The City where Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t go topless, well, we finally have a reason why. Apparently Sarah Jessica Parker had a no-nudity clause in her contract.  

Yeah, it’s pretty disappointing to learn that a show about a pretty blonde woman trying to find love in the big city by having series of good sex and relationships wouldn’t take her top off in the sack, but it’s true. Sarah Jessica Parker has been quoted as saying:  

"I was not comfortable with nude scenes, scenes with sex toys, or vulgar language—so I didn't do any. My character Carrie, kissed a lot of men but that's as far as it went."  

I guess it’s a good thing that everyone else had no problem showing off their boobs, butts, and sometimes showing off a little bit more. And sure, seeing Kim Cattrall nude on a pretty regular basis was awesome, and seeing Kristin Davis’ breasts was a real highlight and getting a peek at Cynthia Daniels topless every now and then was pretty great, but I have to be honest. I kind of wanted to see Sarah Jessica Parker topless. I will openly admit that I still kind of want to see Sarah Jessica Parker topless.  

Yeah, it’s kind of sad that we never got to see a nude Sarah Jessica Parker. The closest we ever got was seeing Sarah Jessica Parkers boobs through a wet shirt or a kind of see through bra.
