Nicole Kidman to Join Cast of “Top of the Lake” Season Two

Does This Mean a Nicole Kidman TV "Nude Debut"?

Top of the Lake was a great series full of suspense, drama, and most importantly, the nude debut of Elisabeth Moss. Now, the show is gearing up for season two and bringing on Nicole Kidman. Hopefully this will be Nicole Kidman’s nude debut on a television series.  

There was a bit of a back and forth on whether or not Nicole Kidman would be joining the cast, but the official announcement has been made. Director Jane Campion recently told Premiere:  

"Nicole Kidman will [be] in season two ... I am working on scripts and I have a role for her."  

Season two, which is currently entitled Top of the Lake: China Girl, will begin filming in Sydney, Australia in the coming weeks. No one is for sure if Nicole Kidman will be playing the villain this time around, but she did say she enjoys playing “odd and strange” characters so I guess we’ll all have to wait to find out.  Now, I’m going to have to go back and rewatch season one—you know, to refresh myself on everything and see Elisabeth Moss nude again. Who knows what season two will bring, but hopefully it will be bring more Elizabeth Moss and Nicole Kidman nudity.
