“The Lovely Mistresses” Calendar Party: Mission Accomplished!

Not only is our wall already overflowing with 2008 calendars, our own social calendar is filling up with parties to celebrate these 2008 calendars. OK, so this isn't really a trend yet, but if we can find a way to get invited to more shindigs like the one for "The Lovely Mistresses of George W. Bush"—most of whom just happen to be super sexy burlesque queens—then our holidays are going to be much, much jollier. Video go-getter Nick McGlynn was at Madame X in Manhattan this past Saturday and surveyed the collateral damage.
