Four out of five dentists may recommend chewing sugarless gum to their patients who chew gum, but a whopping five out of five Fleshbot staff members recommend chewing gum while topless to just about everyone. But the bubble blowing babes in photographer-slash-conceptual artist Cle9's gallery aren't just up to some harmless masticating fun: "They claim to be a group of revolutionists armed with chewing-gum bombs, the last artificial creatures of the 'sociéteacute; du spectacle', ego wandering zombies, mythomaniacs who want to pass themselves off as young girls or as prematurely aged ones ... Will their chewing-gum bubbles cover them up entirely until they disappear? Will the girls explode when the bubbles burst? Or will these explosions bring about the end of us all?" Dammit, why do those conceptual artists have to make things so complicated?
