Porn Valley Dispatch: In the “Land of the Amazons”

Just as one would be hard-pressed to find someone who is really into Depeche Mode who doesn't also have a fondness for homoerotic vampire literature, one can't say "Amazons" without also saying "couples-friendly erotica". Among the barren crags of Northwest Porn Valley were gathered several juicy (and one, perhaps, powerfully ripe) porn actresses, all decked out in leopardskin underpants and arm bracelets, Clan of the Cave Bear-style. They played the titular characters in Adam & Eve's production of a Daniel Dakota film, "Land of the Amazons".

I didn't ask, but I'm pretty sure Dakota put together the costumes as well as upholstered the Amazon Queen's chair. Both reflected an attention to detail not usually found in porn. Like the rest of the business, though, less attention was paid to the fellas in the Amazons' thrall; they stood around a little self-consciously as any man might while wearing a thong and sneakers.

As near as I could tell, the story involved Evan Stone's character being captured by Amazon ladies and made their King. Along the way his erstwhile girlfriend is also serviced by the warrior tarts. Whether this follows traditional Amazon mythology matters little to me.

What was interesting was the location, just south of where westerns like The Lone Ranger were filmed. With a lucky construction crew lingering a little too long in the hills above the shoot, the huge rocks made an excellent site for an Amazon altar.

Dakota's features provide male porn consumers with non-threatening female dominance scenarios. In this case, the men were slaves but they also got to have sex with the Amazons, including Mikayla (their Queen), Naomi, Jezebelle Bond, and bodybuilder pornstress Yvette Bova, who came equipped with a vaculock dildo-tipped spear.

"This spear is going to do unimagineable things," Dakota said.

The sun set over the hills and I fled, lest there be any straggling Mansons nearby, but I will always have these pictures from my time among the Amazons.
